At Physique Physiotherapy, Mount Tamborine, we provide in-home treatment when requested for yourself or often for an elderly relative. Home visits are particularly beneficial for when someone has just returned from hospital or has just had major surgery. It’s also a great chance for your therapist to see your home environment and how you move within it.
One of the benefits of being treated at home is the fact that we get to see you in your own environment. This means that we get a deeper understanding of what we need to achieve through treatment and also we have the opportunity to discuss the possibility that may require some additional aids to enable you to cope better at home. In addition it is obviously much more convenient and easy for you, our patient, to get the treatment that you require.
As the therapists at Physique Physiotherapy are all hands-on and exercise based therapists, we don’t need any special equipment. Just you, a willingness to get better and a commitment to your therapy and then we’ll do the rest.
A standard home consultation covers North Tamborine, Mount Tamborine, and Eagle Heights. If you live outside of these areas, such as at Tamborine Village, Canungra and Beaudesert, Out of Area Home Visits are available.
